 Well-Being and Medical
 

Current vital signs sensing technologies require direct contact or pressure.  Neteera’s remote and contact-free sensing technology can monitor various indicators of a person’s well-being: 

·         pulse wave velocity

·         heart rate interval

·         pulse

·         respiration

 The monitoring is done at a distance without the need for any physical contact.  This revolutionary system, which utilizes Neteera’s sub-THz components along with the special algorithms and software, was developed in-house by Neteera.  These well-being indicators measure stress,  fatigue and other health signals, and when applied to the automotive industry provide critically important driver monitoring information making driving safe.  

Neteera’s bio-sensing technology is based on using Neteera’s sensor to monitor micro-movements of the skin as well as the skin’s electromagnetic properties. This information can be sensed through furniture, clothes and other visually opaque materials. Our technology’s sensitivity prevents signal noise due to motion to provide an accurate vital-signs readouts.

 
 Internet of Things (IoT)
 
As IoT evolves there is a significant blind spot in regard to the individual person in the IoT space; efficient technology that can monitor and identify people is not commercially available.  Neteera’s unique sensing technology is the first to be used to monitor individuals and identify them without the existing dependence on lighting conditions or privacy issues raised by using camera technology.  In doing so, Neteera’s system will enable a true IoT implementation as the people will be “connected” to the IoT space. This technology will allow for multiple applications and features such as automatically responding to a person’s identity, gestures, preferences, location and motions.

Neteera’s IoT sensor comprises a passive indoor THz imager with high resolution and high sensitivity (both thermal and low noise floor).

 
 
 
 
Security

Today’s concealed weapons scanners which can generally detect metallic weapons are massive and costly. In recent years the security challenge has risen as the threat of terrorism is on the rise combined with advanced technologies that are available to the market. This allows for printing plastic weapons by using 3D printers and creating other weapons from non-metallic materials. There are no safe havens as terrorists can easily penetrate hard targets, even the security barriers provided by airports.   Neteera’s concealed weapons’ sensing technology, will provide a hand held, cost effective and accurate concealed weapons detection solution. The monitor will be smaller and less cumbersome than those currently found in airports at a fraction of the cost. This will allow for a more efficient and affordable deployment of security solutions.

Automotive
 
At present, the automotive market has achieved sensing capabilities outside of the vehicle however, it was not successful in implementing a reliable technology that can sense the driver and other vehicle’s occupants’ well-being. There is a significant value in monitoring the vehicle occupants as this information is crucial in preventing risks evolving from physical crisis, fatigue or stress, as well as to alert potential rescue services in case a passenger should need assistance during their ride. Moreover, as the car manufacturers seek a better connection with the vehicle occupants (major car manufacturers announced that their future focus will be on “Empathetic Cars”), the need for contact-free sensing which supplies accurate indicators is becoming a sought after technology. Neteera’s technology has the capacity to be built into the cockpit to monitor the well-being of the driver and other vehicle’s occupants.  The technology can also be used to alert parents to children who have been left in closed vehicles. 
 
Existing technologies require direct contact or utilize cameras trying to detect facial expressions. Neteera’s sensing technology provides a winning combination of contact free sensing, convergence of multiple features, the ability to be embedded in existing furniture, small form factor, low power consumption and cost effectiveness.  Neteera’s in-car sensing technology is based on using Neteera’s sensor to monitor micro-movements of the skin as well as the skin’s electromagnetic properties. Imaging 
 
Existing imaging technology has difficulty “seeing” in inclement weather or with challenging lighting conditions.  The ability to have quality and cost effective imaging capabilities during night and inclement weather are essential to the automotive, surveillance and military markets as well as many others.  Neteera’s technology has the capacity to function in all weather conditions as well as under varying lighting conditions.  This will significantly enhance imaging capabilities for automotive safety monitors, military apparatus and CCTV cameras.
